A statement from HomeToGo said discussions and due diligence are ongoing adding that a potential transaction may not come to fruition.
Interhome offers 40,000 properties across 20 countries according to its website. The company's rental turnover in 2023 was approximately £347 million.

Germany-based HomeToGo has been on an acquisition spree recently as it develops from a vacation rental metasearch service to a booking platform.
The company acquired 51% of short-break specialists KMW Reisen and Super Urlaub in December 2023. The acquisition followed the company's recruitment of Bodo Thielmann to the newly created role of chief investment director in September last year. Thielmann is tasked with “accelerating deal flow.”
Prior to the KMW Reisen and Super Urlaub acquisitions, HomeToGo had acquired a number of companies in 2022 including Amivac in January and eDomizil in March.
In its second quarter 2024 earnings, HomeToGo reported booking revenues up 27% to €64 million year over year. The company also reiterated full-year guidance of €250 million in booking revenues, up 30% year over year, and adjusted EBITDA of €10 million.
