Troop Travel is a platform to help travel and events managers make informed decisions about the best destination for convening their globally-distributed teams.

The system aggregates thousands of data points to compare travel cost, ease of travel, visa requirements, carbon footprint, security and more, so decisions can be made on objective intelligence rather than just opinion. Since the COVID crisis began, it has added filters based on infection rates and travel restrictions. 

Goals for 2021

While cost used to be one of the main drivers of the decision of where to hold a meeting, today it is safety and risk in the first place, then sustainability and then potentially cost. Our new planning technology addresses exactly that change. It includes all relevant data points you need to know while planning any type or size of in-person/hybrid meetings.

We have started to release the platform to a fast growing number of early adopters and innovators in 2020. One of our strategic goals for 2021 is to further accelerate this growth and to help a large customer base to get in-person meetings back while addressing the important "4S" of Safety, Savings, Sustainability and Service.

In addition, we are working on another customers' request, which is adding a fulfillment ecosystem to our planning platform. We already started joint pilot projects with customers and TMCs, and this will remain a key focus for us in 2021.
