Both travel industry individuals have been described as having played an instrumental role in shaping the sector. They're known for not willing to accept the status quo and have played key roles in establishing new models, developing technology and launching businesses.
Lugli, an online travel and hospitality executive, began her career in the airline business, spent 20 years at Travelport, rising to become the commercial leader for the global distribution system business for the Americas. She went on to head up marketing and distribution at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and has served on numerous advisory boards.
Kaufer co-founded Tripadvisor in 2000 with the mission to help travelers around the world plan and book the perfect trip. Since then, Tripadvisor has grown to a platform offering more than a billion reviews and opinions to help guide travelers in 22 languages all around the world. He recently launched his latest venture, Give Freely, to transform online shopping into acts of kindness.
