RentalReady, a property management software company and subsidiary of GuestReady, has launched Maia, an autonomous artificial agent for short-term rentals.
Property managers can use the tool to automatically respond to guest inquiries and it will handle guest communication without the need of human intervention, according to a statement. In addition, Maia will assist managers with multiple tasks including upselling, reviews and revenue management.
GuestReady, a PhocusWire Hot 25 Startup in 2019, has deployed Maia in five languages across its portfolio of more than 3,000 properties in Europe and the Middle East and Alexander Limpert, co-founder and CEO of the rental management company, anticipates the agent's financial impact will be €1 million in 2025.

RentalReady has already launched several AI-driven features,
including the introduction of on-demand itineraries; identifying the
guests’ mood and suggesting answers within the platform’s unified inbox and
smart replies to guest reviews. Property managers can use AI to assist with their responses to guests and also to handle after-hours exchanges.
“AI depends on a rich data set, and RentalReady has the deepest data of any PMS,” said François Lavie, CTO of RentalReady. “We collect more data on the property and the guest than even the biggest OTAs can handle. I’m not surprised how fast Maia has picked up the task of guest communications. It’s really just the beginning of her capabilities.”
