As demand for tours and activities has fallen away to almost nothing in many countries around the world, a string of brands are putting their efforts into temporarily digitizing their products.
Last week saw a number of the main platforms turning their attention to providing virtual versions of tours, activities and things to do.
TripAdvisor's Viator has brand launched a project called #RoamFromHome, creating over 100 "virtual experiences" that range from home cooking courses to digital walks around cities centers or landmarks.
The company says that it will be dedicating all its social media activity into these products for the time being and around 80% of the paid-for experiences are supporting small businesses - arguably those in the sector that are being hardest hit by the coronavirus outbreak.

Airbnb put its Experiences product on hold in mid-March but has now come back with an online version for some of the products that it used to feature.
Online Experiences will include meditation classes, cooking courses, magic trick training, barista classes and a number of fitness-led products produced in conjunction with professional athletes.
Another tours and activities brand, Headout, has launched Headout From Home - a product that it calls a "quarantine savior" to people stuck at home that still want to experience the world.
Each product for a city includes an associated Spotify playlist, virtual city tour, local recipes, Netflix suggestions and book recommendations.
Other virtual projects include the CityMe's sightseeing tours in Spain, featuring Madrid, Barcelona and Seville, plus the live-streamed tours and talks from guides via the StayCurious account on Instagram.
