"We're
thrilled to partner with VMS Ventures, who brings a wealth of experience and
resources to our company," said Patricia Rossello and Jaime Sastre, the
founders of Roibos. "This investment will enable us to continue building
on our success and deliver even greater value to our customers."
VMS Ventures
and Constellation Software, through its Juniper Travel Technology Portfolio, have a track record
of investing in high-growth travel technology companies. Earlier this month, Constellation Software acquired Peakwork, a specialist in dynamic packaging technology, for an undisclosed sum.
The investing companies will work closely
with Roibos to help it achieve its strategic goals. Its platform is a marketplace where travel providers can connect directly with
hotels, which can see exactly who is booking their rooms and set and enforce
individual rate policies for each travel provider. The direct connection allows
both sides to improve profits by avoiding commissions to additional
intermediaries.
